Crossroads — Studies
on the History of Exchange Relations in the East Asian World
縱横 — 東亞世界交流史研究
クロスロード — 東アジア世界の交流史研究
크로스로드 — 東아시아世界의交流史研究
|
|
Crossroads is an international forum for contributions related to the history of exchange relations in the East Asian world focussing on both its continental (overland) and maritime (overseas) exchange relations of bilateral and multilateral interaction structures. Emphasis is placed on the transfer of culture, science, religions, commodity and product exchange, trade, as well as migration and the organisation of functioning networks across continental and maritime borders, all of which have to be defined in their respective historical and cultural contexts. |

Format: Paperback, 23,0 x 15,5 cm
The Journal Crossroads was originally published as a hybrid periodical: in printed form it could be ordered directly from OSTASIEN Verlag, while the online version could be accessed via the website www.eacrh.net. Unfortunately this website has crashed down in 2018, and the web administrator did not succeed in reviving the website ever since. Thus, in January 2019 the publisher and the editor-in-chief decided to provide an open access to all articles that have been published in vols. 1-16 so that everyone who wishes to download the PDF of an article can do this via our own website.
If you want to buy printed copies of individual issues or a complete set of all issues that have hitherto appeared, please contact the publisher.
Currently Angela Schottenhammer and Tansen Sen – in cooperation with Brill in Leiden – are preparing a "New Series" of Crossroads. As soon as the "New Series" can be subscribed, we will announce it. |
